Social Contribution-Oriented WEB 3 Application "TEKKON" Awarded Top 4 in the Private Companies & Organizations Category at Digi-Den-Koshien 2023

Whole Earth Foundation (hereafter, WEF), an NPO that constructs, provides, and operates a citizen-participation type infrastructure information platform, has been awarded Top 4 in the Private Companies & Organizations Category at Digi-Den-Koshien 2023 and was recognized by Prime Minister Kishida at the Prime Minister's official residence.

Digi-Den-Koshien is part of the Digital Garden City Nation initiative promoted by the Cabinet Office. It is an event where local public organizations, private companies, and groups submit cases where digital technology is utilized to solve regional issues, and outstanding efforts are recognized and awarded.

■ Digi-Den-Koshien 2023 Results
There were 240 entries from across the country for Digi-Den-Koshien 2023, from which evaluations were made in both the local public organizations category and the private companies & organizations category. TEKKON was ranked 1st by the evaluation committee in the private companies & organizations category and also secured the 9th position through internet voting. Consequently, it was selected as Top 4 in the overall voting for private companies & organizations.
TEKKON, as a citizen-participation type infrastructure maintenance platform, has achieved significant results through initiatives aimed at solving community issues in collaboration with business companies such as Infronia Holdings Inc. The award of Top 4 was in recognition of the collaboration with Tohoku Electric Power Network Inc., and it reflects the high quality of its activities and the significant social impact, emphasizing the technical innovation and social significance.
